This weekend I got two of my favorite things; a blanket of snow over the city and a visit from my best friend and her daughter. We spent our time exploring, relaxing and when temperatures crept below twenty degrees, seeking shelter in some of Philadelphia's best restaurants. Late Sunday afternoon when we stopped by the hotel to warm up we stumbled upon incredible light streaming into the room. Naturally, this sparked an impromptu photo session. We only spent a few minutes shooting, but that time was filled with laughter and cuddles, as any photo session should be.
Motherhood has always been one of my favorite things to document and I was so glad to photograph this gorgeous pair. Turning the unique connection between a mother and her child into art allows me to give them a glimpse of how incredible they are from my perspective. A view that looks a lot like this..
